Raised on Cape Cod in downtown Sandwich, Farrah DiPietro was part of a group of families called "townies." Her great-aunt Nan McCann founded the original Sandwich Boardwalk that leads to Town Neck Beach. She took swimming lessons at Sandy Neck Beach and made floats for the Fourth of July parade that traverses the town. She was part of the last graduating class of the century to leave Sandwich High School. She wouldn't have wanted to grow up anywhere else. After college, Farrah DiPietro worked in production on various television shows in Los Angeles. Her favorite job was conducting research for a healthy-living cooking show called "Gen's Guiltless Gourmet." When she came home, it was evident she had to make a career change. When she asked her father for his advice, he said, "You should get your real estate license." Farrah DiPietro has since had the fantastic opportunity to join the team at Heritage Sands- the Cape's first cottage community in nearly 50 years. The community has won many awards for sustainable design and construction practices, including "Community of the Year" by The National Association of Home Builders.
